In my technical theatre experience this has never been more true. I have served as director, production manager, stage manager, sound design, and backstage tech for many shows. Every production has had its challenges but also been well worth the hard work and effort to open the curtain and share a story.

Doing theater outdoors is always a challenge. In this venue we had florescent lights, which meant our blackouts were lights snapping off and snapping back on. This didn't go with the flow for Juliet being set in the burial chamber, so instead I came up with this idea which I think worked well all things considered.
